Both born in 1962, Andrew Lumsden and Olivier Latry are among the world's finest younger recitalists. Lumsden is sub-organist at Westminster Abbey, London, while Latry is one of four sharing the post at Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris.
We hear their separate performances on the 26-stop J.W. Walker instrument at St. Martha's Church, Sarasota, Florida (Lumsden) and the 50-stop hellmuth Wolff organ of Christ Church Cathedral, Indianapolis, Indiana (Latry). Both were recorded on 1/14/1990.
