The Ruth and Clarence Mader Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 1971 to promote young organists and sponsor new compositions and organ-related research. The performances featured here were drawn from the final round of the 12th Mader Competition, recorded November 6, 2010. Recording engineer was Francois Vaillancourt.

Clarence Mader’s rarely heard October Interlude appears on the Pipedreams Live! compact disc in a performance by Cherry Rhodes. The work also is featured in a YouTube video! Dianov’s Perpetuum Mobile has been recorded by Constantin Volostnov on the Moscow State Conservatory label, SMCCD0103.
