J. S. BACH: Toccata in d, BWV 565 –Alan Morrison (ACA 20127). Alan, an Atlanta native, among other responsibilities at the Curtis Institute and Westminster Choir College, is ‘organist in residence’ at Spivey Hall, where he has had a personal connection to the Ruffatti since its inauguration.

A gift to the community from Emilie and Walter Spivey, the three-manual, 79-rank Ruffatti pipe organ, the Albert Schweitzer Memorial Organ, has been in nearly continuous use since its inauguration in 1992, a bit more than a year after the hall’s dedication.

Upcoming concerts feature Hector Olivera (May 6) and a 25th Anniversary Celebration with Ken Cowan, Cherry Rhodes and Alan Morrison (May 13).
