In this hour we also provide an update on the situation with the Wanamaker Organ, a world-renowned iconic presence in the heart of Philadelphia since 1911.  While TF Cornerstone, new owners of the Wanamaker Building, refine their future plans, this remarkable instrument is being well-maiantaines and used daily, and will be featured in performances during the next two months, including a variety of Pipe Up! concerts sponsored by Opera Philadelphia, and the celebrated Macy’s Christmas Light Show & Holiday Village which will open in coming weeks. Friends of the Wanamaker Organ can provide more information as they continue with restoration and ongoing maintenance of this astonishing musical masterpiece.
