Following a concert appearance at Carleton College, during his 10th tour in the United States, Marcel Dupré recorded an interview on November 11, 1948 in the radio studios of WCAL-760AM on the campus of St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN.

The musical material used in this first hour was derived from a 10-CD integral reissue of Dupré recordings, originally produced and issued as LP’s in the USA by Mercury Records. Sadly, that set now is out-of-print and something of a collector’s item. However, the individual CD albums still are available through the Association des Amis de l’Art de Marcel Dupré (click on the box Offres Promotionnelles) while their supply lasts.
