Friday, September 18 at 7:30PM - Michael Barone is host for a 50th Anniversary Concert by guest artist Peter Sykes (Juilliard School faculty) featuring the 1977 Brunzema-Casavant organ at Maternity of Mary Catholic Church (1414 Dale Street North) in Saint Paul.
October 30, Friday at 2PM – Michael Barone moderates a ‘conversation’ with Parisian organist Olivier Latry, who will talk about his life and career at St. Olaf Catholic Church (215 8th Avenue South) in Minneapolis, MN. Free.
November 22, Sunday at 4PM - Michael Barone hosts a TCAGO Member Showcase concert devoted to works by American composers, co-sponsored by the Twin Cities Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, featuring the recently expanded 1964 Aeolian-Skinner/2011 Holtkamp organ at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church (12650 Johnny Cake Ridge Road) in Apple Valley, MN. Free/donation.
March 7, Sunday at 3PM – Duluth organist Charles Sundquist presents a concert performance of Marcel Dupré’s The Stations of the Cross, a sequence of 14 musical meditations based on the grippingly dramatic poetry of Paul Claudel, which will be read (in English translation) by Michael Barone, featuring the 39-rank Glück pipe organ in the Cathedral of Christ the King (1410 Baxter Avenue) in Superior, WI. Free/donation.
March 14, Sunday at 3PM – guest soloist Stephen Hamilton performs Marcel Dupré’s suite Le Chemin de la Croix/The Stations of the Cross, 14 meditations on poems by Paul Claudel which will be read by Michael Barone in English translations, featuring the Skinner/Aeolian-Skinner/Quimby pipe organs at the Cathedral of Saint Paul, (239 Selby Avenue) in St. Paul, MN. Free/donation.
March 20, 2027, Saturday from 9AM-5PM – Michael Barone hosts the annual Before Bach’s Birthday Bash featuring five free hour-long concerts of Bach’s music at various churches in the Twin Cities, sponsored by the Twin Cities Chapter of the American Guild of Organists…details TBA at taco.org

April 11, Sunday at 4PM –as part of the impressive Bethlehem Music Series, Vincent Dubois, organist from Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris, performs a solo concert on the 55-rank 1965 Casavant organ at Bethlehem Lutheran Church (4100 Lyndale Avenue South) in Minneapolis, MN. Come early for a 3:30PM pre-concert chat with the artist and Pipedreams host Michael Barone.
